Stack plasma and other anti-armor/hull weapons on a 30kish fleet and you should be good! i killed it with tier 3 guns on 50 destroyers and 100 corvettes just losing 3 destroyers and 5 corvettes. Shard is basically just a void drake. Kill it with lasers, same as anything else. Yeah, but you'll need a strong fleet.

It was impossible to challenge it. I sent my fleets to the system immediately when it appeared --distance 7 hyperplanes. As for beating it. If the numbers you are swinging are the best you can do then you cannot beat it. Get a bigger and more powerful fleet.
