The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with the occupant classification system sensor needing to be replaced in the passenger-€™s side seat cushion.
I have a 2014 Rogue S. It didn't pass inspection due to airbag light blinking and passenger airbag off light staying on. I decided to do some digging before paying for diagnostics. I found the yellow harness under the seat and unplugged it, made sure the connection was strong and clean.
