For the COOP/DPS build, a Nurse class mod of any quality, or a Legendary Binder class mod will work, for both contribute to the teams survivability and your damage! For the solo DPS build, purple quality Witch class mods, or the Legendary Binder class mod work. Proficiency relics are the best choice to continue spamming Phaselock.
With Maya, I'd say start with the healing tree first, thennn as you get up to in levels you can spread them out. I've been on Op8 for a while now and Maya build makes mobbing a cakewalk. So much so that I almost never use her legendary mods since they make things too easy. She's my go-to for Digistruct because she straight up shits on ppl, and gets health back while doing so. It's like playing a contained and precise Krieg.Aim at the ground so it ricochets into Terra's eyes, and stand in that special spot behind that rock. No sweat. It is possible, but it is pretty difficult. One way to help out is to damage the tentacles pretty well without killing them, then use them for second winds, though I'm not sure how effective that actually is.

Scorn is incredibly solid for UVHM, even for solo builds. The thing is, you'll want to aim above enemies so Scorn doesn't explode and instead continues on to slag enemies with its tendrils. I run 4 different class mods. Legendary siren, legendary cat, blurred trickster with +6 chain reaction and +5 kinetic reflection, and a breakneck banshee with +6 fleet and +5 immolate. The siren mod is for general mobbing and works well with every gun type. For general mobbing, Mirrored Trickster, Pimpernel and Antagonist is fine enough. For bosses as always, Beehawking. Another useful guns are the Tattler, DPUH and Grog always, Norfleet or at least a Topnea for fight for your life. I feel like either anarchy Gaige or grog nozzle +whatever salvador is the best for soloing. 400+ stacks of anarchy is more than enough to kill anything in the game, and the grog nozzle makes Salvador very very hard to kill due to ridiculous health regen. Salvador and Axton are the most "standard shooty"-y characters.I'd use something like the Florentine for sure. And depends if you have converge, I'd recommend a Slowhand or an Interfacer for one slot. Florentine will slag, and if you use antagonist it'll slag as well so you'll have that covered for when you're on cooldown, for grenades, either singularity or something that has an area effect like storm front or chain lightning, imo.This is how I build my level 80 maya for solo play.
