The best DEX based magus will always be starlit span imo. Since you are using a bow you wont need strength at all unless you want the extra +1/+2 of propulsive. Your positioning in the back means you wont need the str for armor. Using stealth means getting enemies flat footed to spellstrike (and sneak attack if going rogue).I am fairly new to Pathfinder (coming over from years of D&D 5e) and I am having a lot of trouble finding guidance for a good weapon for the Magus class. Well, to maximize odds you take improved critical and an 18-20 weapon. Done. Now, what you can actually do with that varies.
