Unless you're picky about performance, this is a good time as any to play. I have an i7-7700K and a GTX 1080, 32gb of ram. I use yuzu via potato launcher with the mods they recommend. I can't keep a solid 60fps in totk no matter the settings or mods on a 3090 I5 12900k. I get 45-60 though and it plays really well.

1x is the preferred setting for these mods because it allows the game to be natively rendered at 4K or 2K, and the emu scaler will multiply that resolution. For example, 2x scaling and the 4K mod will render in 8K. 2x scaling and the 2K mod would be 5K (5120x2880). I haven't run into any issues when I tested on both emulators with all updates.
