The "legacy slide" on the P229 has a short extractor while more recent slides have the long extractor and full height cocking serrations. Both these slides fit on German made frames. Not a bad deal for a couple of near pristine P229's with a rail And then 2 P228 German triple serial #'s that came from the Oklahoma State Prison system. One is in great condition and doesn't look to be carried, but fired plenty. The other one has considerable slide wear with some rust on the slide. It's a candidate for a slide re-blue with Sig.

Being a P220 Compact I believe it should still follow the P220 sequence. It should have a "G" prefix, and six digit number. In this case it has 7 digits, but no visible prefix.
