My MGW was an improvement over the C6 shifter, it is very notchy, and direct/short, but it requires more effort than I would prefer, even with the anti-venom mod. I sometimes still have issue getting it into 2nd quickly when down shifting. I don't have many miles on the MGW, so maybe it will loosen up. In researching various shifters/knobs I came across the MGW. Every review was positive so I decided to bite the bullet and order one. Although there is a hurst shifter that fits the C6, it doesn't include a lower box like the MGW.
