Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. You have to enlarge the wiper arm post holes and use YJ wiper arm/blades and the YJ wiper arm linkage. The CJ motor is still used.

Manual Transmission - D300. 1) Ignition to OFF/UNLOCK position to unlock steering wheel. 2) Shift Transmission into gear and Transfer Case into Neutral. 3) Turn 4x4 hubs to LOCK for axle lubrication.The fuel pump will need a power feed going to it. The OEM one isn't going to work anymore due to the motor etc being out of it. You will need to provide the fuel pump relay with another source of switched power, as the Jeep ECM is not providing one now. A wire from a hot wire will work fine to switch the relay over.

It has always ran at this temp since I got it with 40,000 miles on it.ALL 4.0 engines use the same belt. If the vehicle was an "AC delete", an idler pulley was put in place of the compressor. And-----there is NO WAY to "reroute" a shorter belt to bypass the need for the idler pulley.
