Late game- spears are still the best melee weapon, and with high spear skill, maintenance, and carpentry they last longer. Katana is also deadly but hard to get. Axes are also viable lategame imo as they don’t require the maintenance of spears but basically one shot everything like a top tier weapon should. 3.5. Maintenance. The best weapons are at least a little bit harder to find. Maintenance makes weapons last longer and repairs (which have a limited quantity per weapon) are more effective.
