Best infantry: aserai have decent shock infantry with the palace guard but from my experience most people go with imperial legionaries as their front line due to their strong armour and shield. Just dont bust up their hideouts and they multiply like catholic bunnies. I recommend roughly: 30% Shieldwall / 40% if no linebreakers: 50/50 both types of Sturgian shielded infantry. 30% forest bandits / 40% if no linebreakers. 20% linebreakers but only if you want to command them separately.
