I would recommend starting with your school's prereqs. Definitely go in taking chemistry and lab, and maybe also biology.In California, there is Kaiser Permanente and California University of Science and Medicine School of Medicine. In New York, there is NYU long island. However, the majority of the problem comes from osteopathic medical schools (or so I believe) where the majority of new schools are opening. It depends on where you’re applying. If you’re very strong in volunteering hours then you could do really well if you have mostly schools that are service heavy schools (GT, VCU, Rush, etc.). I feel like here on r/premed, people are generally trying to help their fellow applicants, while on SDN people are either trying to show off or tear others down. Lmao.
