Feb 19, 2018 · No input but dealing with similar situation so interested. 2014 1500 5.7 with the 8 speed rotary dial. Got the "service shifter" message and stuck in park. Oddly enough my battery was 6 years old and at ~11.7v. Bought a new Interstate from Costco (not an AGM). Replaced it, started truck and shifter worked! Our LR4 is stuck in park. The rotary shifter won't budge. I tested all the fuses and they're all good. No warnings on the dash, and no errors come up when scanning through the obd ii port. I hopped in turned key off and back on, shifter still would not move.
