Oct 18, 2020 · Not all Rock-Ola receivers are stamped M14. A very small number were stamped PRM -1. I was informed this stood for PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF MARYLAND. Not being stamped M14 made them legal in Maryland as well as New Jersey. The receivers were forged by BULA Forge. It is my understanding they were made before James River Armory moved to Va. I made a post on here a while ago about my James River Armory M14 not being able to extract spent brass due to how rough the chamber was. Well after sending it in and them "fixing" it it still can't get through a full mag, and now theres spent brass permanently stuck in the chamber.
