Glock 30s vs glock 30sf.
Wow, the difference is like night and day. The 30 feels like a brick compared to the 19, even though both guns are almost the same size. I guess thickness difference and weight does matter! Both conceal just as well, but the 19 is a lot more comfortable. My 30 isn't going anywhere though.
With the SF, aside from the obvious selection of magazines you can use (which applies to both guns as the 30S uses the SF frame), the ability to convert to different calibers is a huge plus. With my 30SF, I've got .45ACP, 10mm, and .40 S&W available with no more than a 10mm conversion barrel and 10mm mags.The Glock 30S frame is borrowed from the 30SF; a subcompact .45 ACP with a capacity of 10 rounds. I had a 30sf, that is a great gun, just to much for me to carry. I now have a 36, that’s the biggest I can carry, though I wish the 30s was as easy but weight is an issue for me. The 30s on paper looks like the ultimate 45acp, but weight matters. As far as recoil, I don’t notice a difference between the 30sf and 36 because the kind of recoil.
