The PIE Dove heads that I tested were "very" old and had obviously been cast with a huge intake port. After porting, the intakes measured approx. 1.485 x 2.900. As I stated before, time only permitted one attempt to raise port velocity and that was filling the bottom of the port with .700 of modeling clay.
