Been trying for two days and can only do manual trades. idk if you every found it, it took me forever. But go into your roster and click on the player and open their player card and you can do it from there. You should also be able to open their player card from the trade area when you add them into a manual trade.

There is a setting when searching the trade block that can limit it to friends only. That will just give you what your PSN or XBOX live friends have put on the block. There should be a "friends only" filter near the bottom of the trade block search menu.
