Power went out in a large portion of Logan this afternoon, closing down the Cache Valley Mall and knocking out traffic lights. In a message posted on Facebook around 3:30 p.m., Logan Light and Power announced electricity had been restored. The cause of the outage was not reported, nor did the power utility say how many customers were affected.
