So I thought I'd familiarize myself with the location of the jumper posts (under the hood) just in case. The directions in the owners manual say "pull the red rubber boot backward" to access the positive jumper post. Use some brake parts cleaner (non-chlorinated as it is safer for plastics) and spray the area out while manipulating the latch to work the solvent in/around the switch. Make sure you use the straw that comes with the cleaner and rag to keep the stuff from Spraying all over the place. chrisgb. C.
