I haven’t used IB for futures before, but their reputation for data is pretty bad. TDA is a good all around broker, but it's not a futures broker. If you trade exclusively futures NinjaTrader and Tradovate are the two most popular brokers. It's not just the commission difference, but the tools they offer.

But its a lifetime license, and with it the broker gives you their lowest rate which is like 54 cents a contract. The software takes some learning, it is not user friendly.
