Cheers. Looks cool, weapon art does good damage and poise damage but its slow startup and long animation and bad tracking can get you killed if you use it recklessly. I switched from an intelligence/dex build to arcane and use exclusively this weapon and I've been wrecking.
The good news is, if you end up not liking the Poleblade, there are alternatives. The Bloody Helice, Reduvia, and the infamous Rivers of Blood will be available alternatives that function on that same build.Currently level 80 ish. Thanks for reading. As far as I know Eleonora’s poleblade along with some other arcane scaling weapons are bugged rn and don’t scale at all with arcane, until the bug is fixed you’re better off just levelling dex or getting vigor and endurance to their soft caps. Thoughts on the newly fixed Rivers of Blood katana and Eleonora's Poleblade? Just loaded in my arcane/dex character and holy crap these things are strong. I'm genuinely glad that FromSoft was able to fix this in a such a short amount of time but I do think that the weapons might be a bit too strong?
Eleonora's scales mainly with Arcane, so put most of your damage points in that. The soft caps for bleed buildup are 45/60.
