The car will cool to comfortable temps but I use "Max a/c" which limits itself to vents and recirculation. The airconditioning isn"t as strong as I'd like but is adequate. When I was in Las Vegas and Bullhead City last July (2010) the temps were 109 and 118 respectively. The car stayed adequately cool.
