Because the bullets weight different amounts, the two rounds are loaded to different pressures. Generally, the heavier bullet will travel more slowly than a lighter bullet. It's hard to find 147 gr range ammo. Practice with any standard pressure ammo will do. So practice with .115 gr, because thats the most common range ammo, & carry 147 is fine. The only problem is practice with standard pressure & carry plus P. Because of the velocity difference.
