With one exception, it had everything I wanted in a combat 1911 pistol. This pistol has a matte coating that has a ceramic base. The coating is over a stainless steel pistol so it should be about impervious to anything but the harshest use. It has a nice trigger with no holes in it that is crisp and clean.

Keep in mind that the resale value on most quality 1911's (including DW), tends to stay within 300 to 500 of what you originally paid (all other things being equal). In other words, a used DW that was originally 1800 will often sell for 1200 to 1500. Likewise, a used Wilson Combat that was originally 3000, might sell for 2500 to 2700 used.
