I knocked out a zenyte set, was able to do Zulrah somewhat effectively without trident, got a DWH, and now I'm working on bandos for armor and hilt. This was all done while being only 75 slayer. Your best options will be 300+ toa or duke imo. The good news for you is that bowfa+crystal isn't needed for 300s and you should be able to get to these in your current gear setup. There is a combat achievement to do a 300 or higher raid with tier 75 or lower gear too . Might as well get that out of the way .
Tbow is worse dps than BP/trident. The whole point is that you can just afk the boss. No. If you're using mage gear then tbow isn't worth taking at all. BP is better on mage phase, mage is better on green and red. Tbow is only useful for last hitting mage phase when using mage gear. Serp is great for the following situations: 1-Want a melee tank helm that has str bonus, ie solo GWD, some Vorkath setups and more that I'm forgetting. 2-Antivenom protection without a potion, ie Zulrah, Chambers, Toa. 3-Need offensive venom function, ie Sara, ToB. With max range and magic with a bowfa you actually turn zulrah into a joke. I can bang out 100 super fast since I just burn zulandrah teleports For faster trips. I'd say 100 kc every 4-6 months is enough to sustain depending on the content. With bowfa I find my self really not burning many scales per month.Doing Zulrah makes way more sense after a cg grind since you need bowfa for CoX and other things anyways. So why not do CG first. At ToA a Bowfa will carry you through Zebak, Baba, and Wardens with ease in a 150. You can probably push into the 250-300 range before you start to feel the lack of Fang. Bowfa feels like it starts to fall off at Wardens P3 around ~350 ish.You'll be done Zulrah well before the point you're grinding raids KC for ancestral. For Range you're probably fine with dhides, but kills will be straight shit until you get your blowpipe.
