Well if the high beams work in manual and the flash position of the multifunction the the bulbs must be working. First thing I would check is relay not sure if a different relay is used in auto. If the multi function works in manual then to me that would rule out the multifunction.Easy fix. Their is a wire (blue) that's become loose that connects to the radio Modual located behind the glovebox on the right side. Remove glovebox door , remove panel.Behind the panel you will see a Modual that mounted sideway , blue wire should connect to the box from left hand.
