Ford 8n hydraulic lift problems.

Someone made a plate to cover the place where it bolts to the engine and had cut and brazed the lines at the back of the tractor. I decided to try to get the hydraulics working.12-14-2007 18:55:41. Although I could not find the lift capacity at the arms, the Ford 8N operator's manual says the hydraulic pump produces 1,500 to 1,700 pounds of pressure. The plumbing to the loader cylinders comes off of the work port of the control valve. The 'out' hose from the control valve (the bottom pipe) goes into the test port.
