This pistol was made by Dan Wesson Arms, Monson Mass. U.S.A. This pistol's serial number is 164221. It is fitted with the rare 12 inch barrel chambered for the 357 Magnum. This barrel can be removed from the frame with the special tools provided with this gun. The original instruction pamplet is in the box with the tools.

The only thing I know about it is that it is quite old, but the serial number is not like other Dan Wesson's. After comparing it to a few photos of revolvers being sold on GunBroker, I just had to ask here if anyone knows more about the serial number. It is SD015488, with Monson, Mass.
