Jun 10, 2011 · Had a CZ Bobwhite. It seemed to shoot ok but the triggers where terrible. An inconsistent 13 and 9 pounds. Sold it off quick. Couldn’t get used to the sxs either. Now I shoot a Franchi 48 and I think it might be the best bird gun ever made and cost less then the CZ. I would not buy another cz shotgun but their rifles are good. This certainly seems the case with the TriStar Bristol side-by-side line. Have a custom order in with IFG now for a 16 ga. ISIDE it is the most money I've ever spent on a gun to date. Internals are the same as the basic guns, it is just a lot more bling. Also own a CZ 16 ga. Sharptail. There is no comparison between the 2 companies IMO, FAIR all the way. CZ does have good support at least for the first 5 years.I had a 20 gauge Bobwhite and sold it.
