It takes 10/22 mags and has a Remington 700 trigger. So it is easily upgraded. But the Carbon is very nice. This one takes a 700 trigger as well but does have proprietary mags from Bergara. Both good points. One of the perks of having a friend on the inside is getting the best price.Now in terms of everything else that might go into shooting a rifle, the Bergara B14R might be a better buy, if you like the stock, weight, etc...
