Cragheart solo strategy. Gloomhaven. I've been playing the solo scenarios on the digital game recently, and found that of cragheart the most difficult/interesting. I did it at level 6 on normal difficulty, and my strategy is simply creating a near-optimal maze efficiently with major+minor stamina potions. As shown in the figure I placed 13 ...Growth is a trap, move 4 and low initiative is what cragheart lacks. I play on the hardest difficulty and Explosive Punch is just so much better. Sentient Growth looks good, but does too little on higher difficulty. Just my opinion. For one thing, many/most scenarios already contain single-hex obstacles, which the Cragheart uses to power its abilities. For two, there are higher levels you can sacrifice that don't really help toward the obstacle build much. Levels 6 and 7 can be used to take early obstacle cards.
