Chevy malibu stalls when stopping.

My 2005 Chevy Malibu has been randomly losing all engine power and stalling. I drove for 4 hours no issues. On the way back the next day after about 2 hours of driving my car, the engine started losing power (but not a complete stall, I still had full control of steering and my breaks but RPM would drop to 0).It might have enough to start, drains, and dies.
