Having over 700 hours in Borderlands 2 and about 300 hours playing as her, and this is my second guide to her build. This time, just a short quick guide.
Optional but useful: shock transfusion grenades, and the Florentine SMG (seraph vendor in Flamerock Refuge). It's a very high octane, in their face build, and is high risk, high reward. If you can get to 100-150+ stacks of Anarchy, nothing in the game except heavy shock resistant enemies can touch you. I carry a DPUH for those if I can.Apr 18, 2018 ... Nov 8, 2017 · Anarchy builds benefit from Discord. It gives you Control. You have buffed DeathTrap in some ways, but missed out on Upshot Robot, and missed Robot Rampage that gives extra melee abilities, while buffing melee damage elsewhere. Made off Sterner Stuff gives you a whole 5% damage reduction for 5 points. 5% reduction.
Gaige works well with Hyperion weapons (especially if you have a lot of stacks of Anarchy) and well with Jacobs weapons. (if you're trying to build up stacks of Anarchy) Keep an eye out for e-tech pistols as well, specifically Spikers as they home in on targets; for most characters, they eat too much ammo for not enough damage, but at max ...Anarchy is cool, but it requires that you have a "stacking weapon" like a Jacob's shotgun with low mag and high reload speed, and an "Anarchy weapon". (lots of projectiles/pellets to maximize the benefit) Anarchy Gaige is one of the rare builds that can make a Dahlminator absolutely crush.

Anarchy is by far the more fun way to play Gaige. Jakobs shotguns, high damage per shot revolvers (think like Ruby) and high rate of fire snipers are your bread and butter. For shields I usually run a Nova or an Amp shield since Blood Soaked Shields negates most concerns about recharge delay/rate.
By not using Anarchy, you are crippling Gaige's damage potential. 1.75% Gun damage times either 150/400 equals death. And with ricocheting bullets you can fire from cover. DT can't keep up in TVHM or late 1st playthrough.

You can play Gaige without Anarchy, but it's undeniably her main damage source. What I'd recommend is still speccing into it but going with a Discord-looping build which means everytime you feel like you have too many stacks you activate Discord for increase fire rate and health regen. You have so many skill points even at 72 that it wouldn't make any sense not to take red tree at all. Realistically, no. Without Anarchy, you're losing most of your damage skills and Blood Soaked Shields making Gaige extremely fragile.Anarchist, punk and prodigy class mods are also really good. The bee is incredibly fragile but also massively boosts your damage output. Witb blood soaked shields however you can keep it up most of the time. I’m a long time lurker and have done the normal things people suggest (starting right at level 50, waiting till the end to get uniques, slagging etc). I’mnow at 53 and really seem to be struggling. Jul 28, 2015 · I always recommend Anarchy because it gives a huge damage increase for only one point. If you don't like the accuracy loss there's always Discord to burn off excessive stacks.
