Here is what is likely happening and why this is flawed for Bronze 5 only: SR is still in place but hidden. Due to the MMR (SR) “soft” reset - accounts that were decaying or in Bronze/Silver got placed at the bottom of the SR number. Many have speculated this was simply a reduction in SR near the 1000 number.
This only happens when I launch Overwatch 2, every other game on my PC (including other Blizzard games) operate just fine. Friend of mine may have found the solution. Reinstall the most recent Nividia drivers and it should work. After doing this I was able to log into the game without an issue.
