I think so. The spoiler, while significant for your first playthrough, is something everyone that replays the game already knows. The game is just that good, even when knowing the twist. KotOR is also the entry to KotOR 2, so I'd recommend playing KotOR just to have a grounded baseline for playing KotOR 2 (which I consider to be an even better ...
