So my last Friday of my freshman year of college me and a buddy bought a half eighth of shrooms, went out into the woods, and ate them. He ate them all at once, but I ate about .75 and then I gradually dosed over the next couple hours.I took shrooms 5 days in a row before, same amounts and each day my trips got more wild. Some people build up tolerance some don't, like me. It's up to you to try it just respect them they aren't a causal drug, I haven't done em since that 5 days and I have 2oz sitting here. (It's been about a month) mush love 🤙🏼.Classic kinda bad trip. The older shrooms probably just took longer for your system to digest and process. Ended up taking a way higher amount after taking the secondary dose. I'd stick to your 0.5 to 1.5g dose because you already found an amount which works right for your chemistry.

It’s extremely hard to explain but the best way I can put it is 3.5g is the dose I would describe as a “full trip.”. The 5g dose is like the “full trip” times 3. The headspace puts you in a totally different place, the effects are more evident, new effects, a body high that is much harder to cope with.

If you are going higher, get comfortable with lower doses first and have a trip sitter you trust. That said, here's a rough guideline to reach each trip level with dried mushrooms: Level 1 - "Threshold". 0.5 - 1 gram. Level 2 - "Musem Dose". 1 - 2 grams. Level 3 - "The Oracle". 2 - 3 grams. 2 to 3 grams depending on potency.. about 2.5.. 3.5 grams of shrooms has absolutely blown me away before nowhere near any lsd trip I've had. assuming the tabs are ~100ug each, I’d say comparable to ~3.5g of cubensis. In my experience the correct answer is (assuming you have strong shrooms and 1 tab is 100ug) about 5gs of shrooms. IMO.
