2006 chevy trailblazer ac vents not working.

I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and the AC is not working consistently. It comes on and off on short trips but on longer trips it will cut out completely and just blow warm air. I have checked the coolant level (fine), changed the AC relay in the fuse box, and installed a new belt tensioner.I have the same issue in my 2006 envoy xl. The only issue I have is the middle actuator seams to not have a white gear in it when I pull it off. If I pull the white gear off the actuator it fits perfectly on the metal post. I then recalibrate it and the air blows out the defrost as it always did and moves to the floor for a couple seconds.40,000 MILES. Hi, the rear heater vents just blow cold air. Here are two pics with the full tank of gas. With the truck NOT running see the gauge reading Full. With the truck RUNNING see the gauge WELL OVER FULL.
